JR Guitars Custom OM Solid Spruce/Solid Rosewood

1994 Taylor Dan Crary Signature model Solid Sitka spruce top, solid rosewood back and sides.  Venetian cutaway.

This is a rare 16 year old Taylor which has open up nicely and is still in excellent shape. It has an undersaddle pickup system installed as well. I am uncertain of the make but has very true acoustic reproduction even across all strings.  Has Grover tuners. Plays like butter, truly awesome sound unplugged or plugged in. Super comfortable fast neck. As anyone knows you can not buy aging and this one has opened up nicely. These are a flatpickers/bluegrass guitar especially design in collaboration with Dan. This is the very first of Taylors signature series. It is based on the 810C design. The solid spruce top has some nice tight gain and great looks along with the abalone rosette. There is some buckle rash on back from playing but only on surface has not gone through finish. The frets have lots of life in them and the action is good and low for easy playing as you would expect from a Taylor. As you can see the guitar has well protected the guitar on its travels, a bit worn but still very intact all the latches hinges and handle are in perfect working order. A top of the line original Taylor.
